    Default Org Gone Wonky

I can't stay logged on to the Org on my computer in the shop and it's driving me nuts.
I log on in the normal way and when I get to the forum boards everything just disappears. I have got rid of cookies and done a reboot, but it's got the better of me.

A free Birons key ring to anyone that knows what is causing my problem.

    Hi Birons

BT internet customers have had problems in the Wick area today but I think these have been resolved now

The other thing to do is to tick the "Remember Me" box when you're logging onto the forums. It's just below where you enter your Username & Password.

    Hope this helps.

    Default Free Keyring

Oops, I forgot to ask if I can have a free keyring please?

Whether or not my reply resolves your problem, I seem to be the only one who has replied.

Thank you for your help, Moira. I have tried all of the above, but to no avail.

I can log on and when I go past the front page it comes up with he usual org menu, but after a few seconds it refreshes itself and everything below the menu bar disappears.

You are more than welcome to a key ring though.lol

My mother in law is having exactly the same problem as you. So what was the answer to your problems? So that I can get her sorted. Thanks

i will have a guess she is using an old or out of date anti virus [prob AVG 8.5 or another AVG thats already been compromised upon upgrade]
dump it install microsoft security essentials

    and/or
she is using an old version of IE [7/8] or before

    and/or
she has an old [XP or Vista] thats has had the windows update turned off and not getting or installing the ESSENTIAL security updates.

    simple fix:
uninstall whatever anti-virus she has - install MSE
continually keep going back to windows update site [AND select ALL optional updates too] until its is updated TOTALLY

install IE9 [though this will be automatically done during the updates cycle.

download and run combofix from HERE ONLY
    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/down...virus/combofix

    ignore the anti-virus warning.

on IE9, go tools/internet options/advanced - scroll down - tick the box about emptying internet temp files on exit.

    or
    give me a call

    number below
    i'll do it remotely

I have no idea what dx100uk did, but it put it right and works fine now.
