Inspiration please!

I have an Olympus E500 and would like to get out more with it in the area, the problem i have is inspiration.
Where do you guys go for picture taking? Are they any events coming up that give a good photo op? And finally, where the heck do you get your inspiration from?????

Best thing I can suggest is , if you can, just take your camera everywhere with you, almost anything can make a decent photo, people, cars, bikes, skateboarders, dogwalkers, the sea, boats, fishermen, clouds, sunrise, sunsets, birds etc etc etc, just snap away, you will get some great results without even trying, and post them on here, good or bad, the rest of us do !
