Default My USB pen is saying its 'write protected' - how do I remove this??

Every time I try and save something to my USB pen, a message pops up saying the disk is write protected. How do I remove this (operating system Vista)?? Its been working fine for about three months, so don't know how this came about.

    Thanks in advance.

Sometimes there's a wee switch on the side to turn on/off write protection, otherwise it'll be a wee software lock - what make & model is it?

Been looking for a switch on the side, but can't see one. Its a SanDisk Cruzer Edge 8GB.

Have you tried the drive on another PC? It may be the permissions on your own system are set to block access.

If it doesn't work on another PC then it's possibly SanDisk's own SecureAccess software (which comes with the Cruzer) which is blocking access - it can be downloaded here.

Let us know how you get on.

Tried it on another computer and still not working.
