    Default The Sea

    Seething froth,
    Like a madman possessed,
    Crashes upon Dunnet Sands,
    At all hours of the day.

    What does it tell us?
    About our lives,
    And our lovers?
    Our destiny unknown.

    A solace we seek,
    In words and in vision,
    As we tread our own paths,
    Through this life as we lead it.

    Do the waves as they crash,
    A great secret possess?
    Or is humanity flawed,
    As great answers we seek?

    We never shall know,
    Until our Maker we meet,
    Let's get on with our lives,
    With our lovers beside us.
