Tiger, I took your advice, put the camera on a tripod (I know, it's not straight, but it's steady!), and used the night setting...

That's brilliant weeburd!! They've come a long way since the neep lanterns.
Don't wrestle with pigs, you just get all dirty and the pig enjoys it.

You know, in honour of the neep posts in this thread, I have been keeping an eye out for a big neep to do, sadly they're all tiny... is it just me that's grown since my childhood, or are neeps these days smaller than they used to be??

Any farmers out there got any big ones that they could share with e'Burd? Neeps, that is ...

Willowbankbear's got a big neep. It would be ideal for keeping the bairns from the door.

There's some swedes (not the scandinavian type) washed up on Thurso beach if anyone finds that the greengrocers have sold out. They look quite fresh!

    Default Wee'er Burd's Pumpkin

As this is a small pumpkin, I've had to go in quite close to get the pic, so it's not as good as the others ...

Wee'erBurd loves Shrek... well "Donkey" as she calls it, for obvious reasons! I'm afraid I haven't got the, ahem, skills to do Donkey, Princess Fi or Puss, but I may be able to take a commission for next year !

I only have one more left to carve, might get round to it tonight, but failing that it will be tomorrow. MrBurd hasn't touched his yet, so he'll have a busy day tomorrow too !

Well, you'll have plenty of time between now and then to practice Donkey, at least Having seen your work, I'm sure you could do it.
