Shouted at woman, court is told
Michael Kerry was given a chance to demonstrate he can behave himself when he appeared from custody at Wick Sheriff Court today on a bad conduct charge.
Kerry (46) of the town’s Kennedy Terrace, admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner towards a woman at her home in the town, on August 17.
It was stated that he had been drinking, and matters escalated from a “dispute or misunderstanding” between them. Sentence was deferred for six months.
Denies removing child
A WICK man has been accused of a breach of the peace charge in which, it is alleged he removed his ex-partner’s child from her home, against her wishes.
The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded not guilty when he appeared from custody at Wick Sheriff Court, today.
He also denies a further charge of behaving in an hysterical manner in Francis Street, Wick, the same day, October 28.
The accused will return to court for his trial on January 5.
