Report to go to procurator fiscal

A DIVER, who is thought to have got into difficulty while diving on the scuttled German fleet wrecks in Scapa Flow, has died.
Police were alerted, yesterday, to reports of an unresponsive diver who had been airlifted from Scapa Flow and taken to the Balfour Hospital in Kirkwall.
The 53-year-old man was sadly pronounced dead at the hospital, later that day.
A full report on the circumstances, which do not appear to be suspicious, have been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
No further details will be issued until all next of kin have been informed.
