spare laptops and mobiles

Ok what does everyone up here do with old laptops and mobile phones?
We have about 4 spare laptops and about 5 old mobiles.
The laptops would need clearing and all are in working order except the cd player doesn't work on one.
The mobiles are all broken probably.

Also what's the best way to clear the mobiles if you don't have a system cd for them?
