Thread: Caddis Flies in Caithness

    Default Caddis Flies in Caithness

Not the most popular insect group discussed on this forum but an interesting group, nevertheless. 72 species have been recorded in Caithness.

With the help of Dr Ian Wallace at the National Museums Liverpool I have created a local data base containing all the records of caddis flies from Caithness. Using this I have started a new section for caddis flies on the Moths of Caithness website which has distribution maps for all species. I have added a few photographs and will add more as they become available.

To view go to www.caithnessmoths.org.uk and click on the caddis fly link on the left hand side of the home page.
