Challenge will enable injured brother to come home

A TRIATHLON has helped Thurso businessman, Mark Taylor, reach the financial target necessary to pay his accident victim brother’s medical bills abroad and travel home.
Matthew Taylor is being treated for life-threatening injuries following a motor bike crash in Bali, three months ago. The teacher’s Derbyshire-based family has now finalised arrangements for him to be flown home on Monday.
Brother Mark Taylor who runs a gift shop and boutique in Thurso, successfully completed a sponsored triathlon, comprising a six-mile swim in the Pentland Firth, the Three Peaks challenge of Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowden, and a cycle trip from the Taylor home near Burton-on-Trent to Thurso.
