    Default Ukraine v Scotland

Unfortunately scotland's luck couldn't hold out against the ukranians losing 2-0.

Going by the one sided commentary I thought Scotland had won, no?
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.

Scotland were too defensive and nowhere near adventurous enough.
England? I'm glad they got beat. Football south of the border is way too hyped and footballers way too indulged. Needs a reality injection and the reality is we're okay, just okay. Better than Scotland in the long game but nowhere near as passionate. As an Englishman I want to qualify but I want it to be touch and go all the way.

Ally's Army was a fair old side and, as far as I remember, were quite unlucky not to make the knockout stage.
I defy anybody to say that their football was anything other than worth watching.

Did Croatia really beat England? I think I'll go and eat humble pie over my past teasing about the Faeroes.

You cannot be comparing the Faroe Islands collective footballing prowess to that of Croatia surely?

Do you not remember how good the Yugoslavian team was? - this lot made up almost half of it.
