He is being sneaky. He wants us to sell, sell, sell so that he can buy, buy, buy - very cheaply! I'm hanging on to mine and hope that it recovers slowly but surely.

That's ok; I have helped cut peat many a time; the ropes could take a bit longer....

I have made hay while the sun shines (and even when it didn't), I've planted and harvested tatties, carried a bale of hay to outwintered cattle and ran about trying to round up sheep 'cos the dog was useless!

Bring it on, I'll have Ben to help me this time! And you know how useful he is..... ;¬)

My first thoughts is that he is the David Icke of the financial world. A google search for him doesn't seem to come up with anything much more than a day old, lots of accusations of it being a hoaxer trying to cause trouble. His surname sounds Iranian, so for a conspiracy theory he might be an Iranian agent trying to crash the West. He knows that idle talk of a crash in traderworld can cause a crash so this is him trying it.

I'd say it's not far from the truth.

Who else runs the world? The president of the USA? The same president who "raised" the best part of a Billion dollars to win the election? Democracy - no way. Those with money decide who stands and who wins.

It might be Goldman Sachs, it might be someone else........

The guy's a fruit-loop. One look at the body language and facial expressions tells me that he's spouting pish, just to make an impression.

Three things come to mind:

He is seeing he can manipulate the media, possibly as a joke.
He's serious.
It's a scam. A Forex trader who has bet millions on a collapse of the Euro is given a chance by the media to voice his opinion on whether he thinks the Euro will crash. And he says it will; He says to put your money into US Dollars / Treasury Bonds as he wants the Euro to tank so he can make money short selling Euros. I mean it could well crash but this isn't an independent opinion.
