    Default Missing birds

How much will it affect tourism if the bird colonies are depleted?
For me and my hubbie the birds of Caithness have always been a draw and we have spent many happy hours watching them.
Would make us so sad if we could no wander the cliffs along from Duncansby and the various meres .pools.lochans etc that are so special to the county.

I suppose such a loss is part of the whole food chain business where more besides the birds are affected so the ramifications are greater. This must impact on the number of visitors to the area, though will be progressive I expect.
