Police appeal for assistance

THIEVES have stolen copper worth £600 from a mobile phone mast in Sutherland.
The strips which were removed along with some electrical connections are designed to protect against lightening strikes.
The discovery was made by the engineer responsible for the maintenance of the o2 mast on the Cambusmore Estate, in Sutherland. Everything was in order when he made his previous check, on June 6.
