    Default Mary Portas

I thought I would post this mostly for the views of our lady Orgers. Ever since she spotted an article in the paper that Mary Portas was putting together a collection of clothes for older women, since most women are over 40 in Britain now, Mrs L has been looking forward to the unveiling of it.

    Indeed her anticipation was high.

So yesterday Ms Portas unveiled her collection and my wife had a look at it online just now.

    Her reaction was.... interesting.

As a man I found it very much so.

But I won't tell you what it was.

Before I do I thought I'd have a few reactions here.

    Over to you.....

(I've tried 3 times to put the whole link in but it will not go- copy and paste is all I can suggest.)

I liked it, but unfortunately I don't have a figure like Mary Portas which these clothes are designed for.

That sums up my reaction LIZZ. It's more Mary Marquis than Mary Quant. Yuck! And the shoes are what my grannie used to wear! I'll stick to my Louboutins until I reach my dotage thank you very much Mary Dreary.

I liked a few of the bits and pieces as I thought they were practiable and wearable with wee kids messing me up...
But to prove my ignorance... Whats a MILF again?

You don't want to know Dadie. Stay ignorant.
You don't have to be mad to know me but it helps.

I was sitting quietly minding my own business and reading the paper.

My wife was on the computer opposite.

All of a sudden there was a vehement explosion 'Overpriced rubbish!' which made made me jump.

Then she proceeded to give her verdict in Anglo-Saxon which consisted of one word.

I don't think she likes the stuff.

And she's such a quiet person...

All I ask is a chance to prove that money can't make me happy.
