I use food colouring paste much stronger colour you only need a tiny bit, think Serendipity does it if not eBay
MacDonald's Bakery in Wick also sell a range of food paste colours, cheers
I have had loads of red foodcolouring used in our house in all kinds of baking and none has gone orange on us...we have had everything from pale pink to barbie pink for icing and either use the supercook or the dr okter (sp) Both are good for everyday baking with the kids, but for something special buy the pastes and glitters ......
it is Dr Oetker Natural Red that I have, but will go to MacDonald's Bakery in Wick next time am down, and have a look in Serendipity.
