    Default Clickfree problem

I bought a Clickfree 6 recently to back up my PC.

A little while into it backing up my computer crashed!

Thankfully it recovered but, as there were no other applications running at the time, I assume it must have been caused by the Clickfree but not sure why?
I'm frightened to try it again in case the same thing happens.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

did you get the power supply too or just running it fro the usb port on the pc?

i have known a single usb port to be overloaded by the amount of power these take from one usb socket

It is just run from the usb port which I thought strange as the Clickfree I have to back up photos uses a power supply as well.

Do you think it might be risky to try again? If so, can you recommend another device to back up?
