no, they mean the day when everyone has to dress up stupid in all the shops etc in town

heard a rumour that it was on the 27th of November, could be totally wrong though

think we might be dressing up as the cast from Still Game... depends how well we get organised though

The wick one is definately on the 27th November, so I thought that they might have the Thurso one on a different date - maybe not though?

They used to be on different days in the hope that all the wickers would come to thurso for the fun day and vice versa but when they realised not many people were crossing the county to endure 2 days of overly busy shops they now hold them on the same day.

Wick hasnt even got christmas lights up yet, so dont know when or if they will be getting switched on!!!!!!

just heard on caithness FM tonight 7.05 pm that the Thurso Fun Day will be on the 27 November 04

I can't wait for the fun day. Most of the shops try really hard to do little extras for their customers and I just love the Christmassy feel with the music and everything that goes on too. I hope lots of people will go and show their support for local businesses and the organisers of such events
