FAR NORTH MP John Thurso has been inundated with a spate of e-mail traffic over the News International phone-hacking scandal, reports today’s Caithness Courier.
The phenomenal response, running into hundreds of messages, has come from towns and villages throughout the constituency and is one of the biggest, John Thurso has ever received.
The senders have expressed their “extreme displeasure”, says John Thurso and added that they had expressed disbelief about the sheer scale of the practice.
He predicts that “significant changes” will emerge from investigations into the affair, described by his constituents as “disgusting”.
