    Default Ironclad

It's a fair enough film to watch if you have a spare 2 hours to kill.

Based on the reign of old dodgy King John and the Templars forcing him to sign the Magna Carta. Obviously the dodgy old king had no intentions of honouring the deed and set about taking England back with the help of Vikings, while the English commoners held tight till the French arrived to back em up.
It can be a tad slow in lots of places, made worse by the fact that 90% of it is based in one castle so not much action as such. However, the action when it does occur is rather gruesome so be warned.
Some good actors in there though the main Viking bigwig looks well dodgy and probably not the best person for the part, perhaps if they had dyed his eyebrows to match the platinum blonde hair but there you go.

Wonder if all that treasure is still hidden in the Lincolnshire wash!
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

Film was average, decent fight scenes but the film could have been 30 mins or so shorter........6/10
