I would like to see the pictures Knittingkitten04 also full details of the sighting ie date time direction of travel. You can pm me the info so i can get it entered on the Sea watch Foundation national sightings data base and the caithness sea watching web site.
I suspect the species will be Risso's Dolphins or Atlantic Whitesided Dolphins both species have been seen around the Caithness coast over the last few days. Rissos' Dolphins were off Lybster feeding for 2 hours on Saturday and the AWSD have been seen in Thurso Bay the last couple of evenings.
