Does anyone know anything / history about Glutt Lodge ?

Try your local MP John "Thurso" Sinclair. He owns it.
No he doesn't.
Glutt Lodge was once part of the Sinclair family estates and the estate office would hold records of its history as a shooting lodge.
Making tomorrow`s memories today
So who does own it ?
Dunbeath Estates own The Glutt now and available for holiday let
So Glutt is unoccupied?
You get what you give
I'm well confuzzled now .
A Stalker lives up there - Fred Mackay who has been there for over 50 years.
I haven't seen Freddie for many a year. A fine cheil.
The old lodge was demolished in the 1960's and is now occupied by a cattle court. The property for let is the former shepherd's house. It's not too far to the Eas Glutta or the falls of Glutt and a little further takes you to the source of the Thurso which drains down from the Knockfinn heights on the county march. God's own country!
Thanks for all the replies.
Errogie you mentioned a property for let. Do you have any information on this?
Is there a contact for Fred Mackay? Like to visit May '15.
I believe he now stays in Halkirk but not sure where but its a small village you should have no problems finding him
Oedipus was the first man to plug the generation gap
freddy is now retired and a man called Gus has taken over. Ring the dunbeath estate and they will rent out the lodge. Only certain Times of year though.
Oh and yes freddy lives in halkirk. He's very happily retired now, but keeping busy
