    Default 'Eco' lamps

Can anyone tell me how I supposed to safely dispose of these horrid lamps, they contain mercury and I don't want to put it in the bin. Do the shops you buy them from have a disposal bin?

    This is an interesting point.

There is a web site http://www.recycle-more.co.uk/lowenergybulb/ and on it you put in your postcde and it advises you where to take these bulbs to so that they can be recycled safely.

I di this and it comes up with either Orkney or Dingwall. This is no use to us at all but I presume that you should be able to take them to the Recycling Centre at Janetstown, Thurso.

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.
