Guest session was the reel MacKay

THE Jim MacKay Scottish dance band returned to its Caithness roots last night as guest artists at Thurso Accordion and Fiddle Club's final session of the season.
The all-family band-line-up of two accordions, one with midi, fiddle and drums-delighted their audience with a varied programme, in two spots, which even featured a Russian piece they picked up during a Burns night booking in that country.
The visitors were able supported by local artistes.
Still on ‘Scottish’, here’s Andy Ross’s latest web selection. Some nostalgic tracks, here.
