Try Screwfix. They're comparatively cheap, delivery is about 2 days and is free for orders over £45. Website is www.screwfix.com

http://www.thetoolbag.com/ delivery if free on orders place online regardless of price. Have mostly the same stuff at the same prices. Ordered on Tuesday was here Thursday morning at 8.00

Unlike screwfix which is £5.95 for orders under £45.00
    Nil Satis Nisi Optimum.

As with most purchases - buying locally is the way to go - no postage and if anything goes wrong, you don't have to queue on the phone to get an answer. Prices aren't usually that much different to online - sometimes cheaper.
