Default Academy to consider management applications

No lack of applicants for Wick Academy job

THE job of managing Highland League's most northerly club, Wick Academy, has attracted a few applications.
The club’s executive committee meets tomorrow night, to consider a possible short leet for interview.
Chairman Colin Stewart said that the applications had come from the Highland area, including local interest, and reflected good quality candidates.
He added that the club hoped to have the new manager in place, before the end of the season.
The post was advertised after co-managers, Richard Hughes and Ian Munro resigned, last month, after failing to maintain the consistency of previous season. They said they had taken the team as far as they could and it was time to hand over to someone else with fresh ideas and impetus to take it forward.
Both have agreed to stay on until the changeover.
