Mean theft at Dunnet
Thieves steal charity clothing bank
MEAN thieves have stolen a Salvation Army clothing bank from its rural site in Caithness.
Police believe that, given its half-tonne weight, and dimensions, 6ft by 6ft and 8ft in height, the charity bank would have had to have been lifted onto a pallet, then onto a lorry or trailer, at the parking area, adjacent to the Britannia Hall, in the village of Dunnet.
Anyone who noticed anything suspicious is asked to contact Thurso police on 01847 893222.
