IN an amazing turn around in their fortunes, Wick Academy pulled off a decisive victory against one of the Highland League's influential sides on their home turf.
David Cowie netted twice for the Scorries in the first 45 minutes taking them into the dressing room with a 2-1 advantage. This time, however, there was going to be no question of emulating their bogey by going ahead and losing the game.
In the second half, Richard Macadie and Craig Shearer sealed Huntly's fate.
Noel Donaldson comments: "I wondered if they would do something against Huntly but not with that goal margin. With all the management stuff out of the way, perhaps, I thought the boys might just go out to enjoy their game without any pressure. In any case, it certainly demonstrates what the Scorries are capable of when they are on form. Anyone know how to bottle consistency?"
