Two appear at special court sitting
Two are accused of assault
TWO people, accused of assaulting each other, will stand trial on in July.
Courtny Slater (20) of Braal Terrace, Halkirk, and Andrew Harris (21) of Skerryvore, South Street, Keiss, pleaded not guilty when they appeared at Wick Sheriff Court today, the first Saturday sitting for several decades, due to the Easter break.
The offences are alleged to have occurred in the J.D. Wetherspoon bar, Wick, on April 21. Slater is charged with assaulting Harris by repeatedly slapping him on the head and Harris is alleged to have grabbed Courtny and struck her on the head, causing her to fall over.
Both accused will return to court for trial on July 19.
