Seen several swallows the last few days, checked out the local area but no sign of the swifts, sand martins or house martins as yet.

Monday evening just after dusk I thought our House Martins had arrived early this year. But they were moving faster and didn't make any noise - we've got bats!

Oh, they make plenty of noise...it's just that you can't hear it!

Just been out at Duncansby head and saw a couple of dozen Sand Martins making their nests in the banks.
