Default Have you completed your census form?

Failure could cost you a £1000 fine

As Scotland’s census return rate reaches 70 percent, people who have yet to send back questionnaires are set to be visited by census takers, to make sure everyone is counted.
The census takers will be able to explain census questions, offer advice, arrange translations and can provide replacement questionnaires or other help.
You must fill in and return your census questionnaire as soon as possible to avoid the risk of a £1,000 fine. Scotland's Census asks people to fill in details of their household circumstances on 27 March 2011.
Everyone must be counted because the census results are used to inform how billions of pounds worth of services are targeted and delivered – services which matter to us all such as health and housing, and business investment.
Your personal information is protected by law and kept confidential for 100 years by the Registrar General.
Help is available to those who need it from the helpline on: 0300 123 1702 or online at: www.scotlandscensus.gov.uk
