    Default Question on Halloween

    Hi all.

I was under the impression or maybe it's just old age, that if Halloween fell on a Sunday the bairns went out trick or treating on the Saturday. Nothing to do with school next day but something about pagen festivals etc.

My kids are saying that they and pals are going out on Sunday.

So I don't look daft and either have goodies out early or not at all can anyone advise.

You'll probably have them at the door both nights, but I would guess most would come on Sat.
Don't worry about it ! Life is too short !!

    Default Halloween

My kids and most of their friends will be going out on Saturday night. I think we did the same when we were kids too.

When I was a bairn I am sure we went out on saturday night if Halloween was on the Sunday. The reason, because my mum said so and that was good enough for me.
