Default Where's the ceilidh tomorrow night?

The ceilidh place tomorrow night is Halkirk
“Come to the Ceilidh”...that was the vocal invitation extended by the late Calum Kennedy and this week by Caithness Chest and Heart Support Group.
Their ceilidh is being held at the Ross Institute, in Halkirk. tomorrow night, and the inimitable M.C. Willie Mackay will introduce a host of artistes, the Poltney Bell Ringers, the Denis Manson Band, the Mina Mackay Dancers, songs from members of Wick Arion Choir, the Caithness Volunteers and Caithness dialect from Sarah Gunn.
The group’s previous ceildih at the same venue was a great success and hopefully this one will be a repeat performance and raise a substantial sum of money for equipment for local medical centres and the Caithness General Hospital, particularly as its funds are depleted following a recent round of grants. All the cash raised by the group is spent in the county.
In addition to fundraising, the chest and heart support group acts as a social forum for people who have had operations -or are due to have them- and their relatives.
Tea and coffee, sandwiches and cakes will be served at the interval when you can obtain tickets for the raffle. The ceilidh gets underway at 7.30pm.
