Frogspawn

Found frogspawn on Dunnet Head this morning. Quite early considering the cold weather.

Definitely early
Last year over here the spawn were just beginning to grow legs in May, thought that was very late, but February is very early for Caithness for frogspawn

we have some over here in kirtomy too and plenty of it

I don't think it's early at all. I have dozens of frogs in my garden pond and it's always about this time that they start laying their spawn. The noise they make is unbelievable, sometimes we can hear them in the house.
