Default Unidentified School Photographs (1920s and 1930s)

    Hello everyone,

I have posted some school photographs that I have of some family members which were taken in the 1920s/1930s. I do not know where the schools were, or who the other people in the pictures are, and was hoping that anyone who looks at them might recognise some family members, or the schools - a long shot I know.

The photos can be found by following these links...

They show my uncle, Alexander "Big Sandy" McGregor, and two aunts, Catherine "Rena" McGregor and Alexanderina "Bunty" McGregor. Their parents were Robert McGregor and Christina Cormack Bremner. As they were employed in farm work they moved around a lot, but always on the Wick side of the county. If it will help I can tell you where each of the children were born...

Sandy was born at Westerseat in 1920; Rena was born at Bilbster Mains in 1922; Bunty was born at Granton Mains in 1924. In 1927 and 1931 the family were definitely at Killimster Mains. The family had also been in the Watten and Thrumster areas at some points.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, but I know not to expect too much.

    Thanks for reading,
    Steven

    Thankyou Horse,

It is Stemster School for the photo you mention, that is one of Bunty's identified.

I thought when I followed your link, "It is exactly the same, except for the missing vent/grill in the wall. BUT it is there hiding behind one of the children if you look closely!"

Thank you for that. I can update my notes for this one.

    Thanks again,
    Steven
