Thread: Problems with laptop

    Default Problems with laptop

Even though I activate the wireless capability f11 to on it doesn't appear to work.

When going on to Internet I have run the diagnostics and I know that it works after applying the fix it is a pain to have to do this everytime.

It used to work fine until I had problems connecting to mother's wireless network, but she had problems which has now been rectified.

Laptop new and runs on windows 7 system.

If anyone can help I would be grateful

    1001 things.......

get a cat5 lead and get the lappy working via a wired connection first between the lappy and your adsl hub
    then when its ok
go into device manager [start/rightclick [my] computer/manage]
    device manager
    find the wireless card [network]
    uninstall it.

then right click on any other device and select
    scan for hardware changes
it should re detect and reinstall the card.

whilst still wired, try and connect to your wireless network now.

    if it connects
    then shutdown the pc
    remove the cat5 cable

and try as normal on wireless

let us know if it dont work

but please give us the lappy details atleast
