Default "North Korea is ready for a "sacred war of justice"

"North Korea is ready for a "sacred war of justice" using the nuclear deterrent, its armed forces minister has said."*

Oh dear, was it Nostradamus who's prophecy said 'war will come from the east'? don't put much store on prophecies.

Hate to say it, but wikileaks did disclose that China (North Koreas great friend) show Beijing is frustrated with military actions of the 'spoiled child' and increasingly favours reunified Korea, so hopefully this will forestall any stupid action by North Korea.. we will see

If it kicks off, hopefully everybody will just let them get on with it and not wade in and get everyone involved. Once they have shot/bombed/nuked each other, it'll all go quiet again....

You could invite them to have their practices around Orkney, that could help your geese situation.
Hating people because of their colour is wrong. And it doesn't matter which colour does the hating. It's just plain wrong.

Aha! I like your line of thinking! But with so few nukes to go round, they'll probably just end up kicking the stuffing (don't ya just hate censorship? ) out of each other directly, to save wasting ammo.

Now, if we could persuade the geese to overwinter in Korea.....

It is a case of "War by Proxy"
The south, assisted by the good old USA, have been upping the ante in the last couple of days by "exercises" on or near the disputed territory.
The North, assisted by China, are rising to the bait.

Oh joy. So this'll be another war in some far flung place we have to pay for then?

I think a far more likely scenario is a new leader attempting to establish his anti-capitalist credentials in order to safeguard his own position.

It's a sign of a power struggle going on in the North Korean dictatorship.

However the conservative government of China will be getting rather upset at the noises over their border and will be working hard to calm their pet rottweiler down.

If he goes too far he will find himself looking after a public toilet in downtown Pyong Yang.
