    Default 64 Bit

My new laptop is 64 bit instead of 32 bit. What are the differences, does any one know please.

Google is probably your friend but anyway. Eventually most systems will be 64-bit and without getting into technicalities 64-bit systems:

    • Support more memory.
    • Are faster if the software has been compiled for a 64-bit architecture.

You probably won't notice much of a difference as a 64-bit system can run 32-bit software. Drivers are probably the only issue, you'll need to get the 64-bit version. The laptop probably has them bundled already and most vendors have 64-bit drivers.
