    Default Microwave Minestrone Soup

    MICROWAVE MINESTRONE SOUP
    2 celery stalks, thinly sliced
    2 carrots, thinly sliced
    2 garlic gloves, crushed (optional)
1 large potato cut into ½ inch cubes
    14oz can chopped tomatoes
2 zucchini (courgettes if your not in the US) thinly sliced
6oz frozen green beans cut into small pieces
1 oz spaghetti, broken up (add 5 mins before serving)
    1 ½ pint hot water
    1 chicken stock cube, crumbled
    1tsp dried basil
    Serves 6
1: In a 4-5pint casserole mix all ingredients, then cover.
2: Microwave at 100% (High) for 30-35 minutes or until vegetables
are tender. Stir once or twice
This is a good recipe for getting rid of those little amounts of frozen vegetables that are left in your freezer i.e. Cauliflower, Green Beans or Broccoli

Thanks for posting that recipe, Golach! I must try it, and your one for salad dressing also.

Are the pints Imperial (20 fluid ounces) or American (16 fluid ounces)?

    Cheers,
