I used to get mine at Sainsbury's (down south). They just gave it to me. Ask at the bakery counter in Tesco.
Snowmen fall from the sky unassembled!
MacKays in Thurso might sell it. If not they are worth a visit anyway.
I would try Macdonalds Bakery!
You can get it free from tesco, just ask at the bakery part and they will give you a wee bag of fresh stuff. use it all the time in bread making
Thanks all for your suggestions. Went to Mackay's, tesco, co-op, reids, johnsons and jamiesons all with no luck. The lady in Reids said that it can't be sold due to heath and safety?! A trip over to the other side of the county may be in order. Thanks again.
I use the dried yeast, (Hovis is best) 1 sachet is equivalent to 25g fresh (1oz). Its brill and you dont need to warm the milk either. Works everytime.
Good luck.
The world is a system its only how you work the sytem that counts...............
