    Default Giant Puffball

    hey hey! found two giant puffballs that aren't so giant yet in my garden, first I've seen this year. Anybody into fungi foraging?

    Picked my first edibles last week. No liberty caps yet though. Late this year.

    I once tried cooking one of these giant puff balls, but the texture was too grainy for my taste.

    i think it depends on when you pick it... if it's about to pop... willl be quite grainy I think..

    can't wait for the ceps and shaggy ink caps to appear!
