There used to be a folk club but lack of enough support contributed to its demise. Aaldtimer is the one to consult; he did his best for folk fans for a long time....but....not enough people interested to keep it going.....and some people are not willing to share the real cost of bringing acts this far north. You have to pay for quality.

A pity as we enjoyed many of the greats but I'm sure Aaldtimer will post on the subject later....

Ah Torvaig, kind words, but you give me too much credit.
I was only the admin side of Wildcat TMA, the easy part of the job that was carried out by a hard working team. It was others who did the humping & dumping of PA, putting up posters all over the town, setting out the chairs, etc.,etc.
