    Smile Ravens

    My neighbour & myself wasted time yesterday watching a pair of Ravens flying around Watten.
    We were alerted by their call & knew they weren't the normal corvids we get around here. First time I've ever seen a wild raven. Is this normal for Caithness? Have been here 12yrs & never seen before. VERY HAPPY BIRDWATCHER

    There are quite a lot of Ravens in Caithness and are often found around the coast.

    We have a pair of Ravens here in Brough that have nested on our cliffs for the last 9 years that I know of. This year they managed to rear 5 offspring successfully.
