    Default Our new pups

We have just take on two pups from the ones that were handed in, via the dog warden, to KWK9. They are saluki cross lab pups and are adorable. They are very easy dogs - if my first dog was as easy I wouldn't have waited 4 years to get a second. We now have four lol

    And the pics!

They are about 5 1/5 to 6 weeks here - far too early to be away from mum...

We originally called the pups Einstein and Darwin but they are now called Enzo and Cooper - just seems to fit them better...
    Enzo

    Cooper

At first the big dogs were scared of them bless

But they soon became very protective and loving towards them - just need to get pics of them all snuggled up

Boyd is just so proud looking and serene

And finally - who said lurchers can't be trusted with cats? This is how bothered my cats are lol (a short vid)

Two little scrummy beauties......but don't think they will stay little for long...well done for giving the puppies a home....had lurchers for years and never a problem with my cats. I think lots of folks who don't have experience of lurchers presume wrong things...I wouldn't be without a hound around me they are beautiful natured.....but you already know that.

Thanks everyone! They are great natured dogs and the best thing I have found about lurchers is they don't bark - all 4 of mine are almost always silent

I want them to stay little forever - they are at such an adorable age

They are gorgeous! It's not often Saluki x puppies end up in rescue! You were lucky. They both look very happy

It's not often you get a saluki x lab either. I'm a member of a lurcher rescue and they are just not seen. I joked that they would be they type of dog who would catch a rabbit for you then bring it back. Someone else replied that they could be the type to swim across the loch and refuse to come back... We'll see

They're fine! It's good for them to be 'told' now and again - as you can see from the little vid, my cat's don't

My little chicks have now settled in well - they're out with the others now and all is fine.

Please post photos as they grow, I'd love to see how they turn out! They look very Labby at the moment, but with crosses, they really can change!
