    Default Flock Of Curlews!

    I saw a huge flock of curlews, hundreds certainly, flying around Mey Loch is this usual behaviour?

    Good question, mostlyharmless. I'm no expert by any means but I've only ever seen is a handful together at one time.

    This is quite normal although 50-60 is the biggest flock I have seen myself. Mey is a great place for groups of waders, especially in the winter.
