    Default Currant bun recipe please

Well I think that is what they are called!
Saw them at The County Show, about the size of a large cake but with thin pastry to the sides , top and bottom. They seemed to be filled with some thing akin to mincemeat.
Would love to know how they are made as they looked quite appetising.

    Liz google black bun
Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing. But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Yes Lizz I also thought they looked very tempting and if it is the same as I saw it was black bun. I also liked the look of the Selkirk Bannock and must try making one as Johnstones the bakers never seem to have them when I am in.
