    Default What kind of Gull is this?

    This big fella visited our garden this morning. Can anyone tell us if the Gull on the right is a Glaucous Gull?





    He/she must be at least 60 cm from beak to tail and enjoys porridge oats and raisins.

    I have it on good authority from the_count that it is a juvenile herring gul

    I stand corrected and bow to the wisdom of the_count

    I can see now that the pic I posted and the bird in the photo aren't exactly the same.
    Och they're all seagulls to me!

    and the other gull is the not so common Common Gull
    If its profound what was the name of the golfer and what did he find?
