    Default Frogs and Toads

After a couple of dry days, Wednesday's showers brought out lots of frogs and toads. These were on the road on my way home from back shift.

Taking the dog out last night he stopped at the raised flower bed by the door, sniffing and snuffling among the folliage....he had found a toad happily latched onto the stone heading up and into the cat mint.....Was gone by the time I got my camera.

We used to have quite a few toads and little green frogs in our garden, but I haven't seen any for the last year or two. I wonder why.
