I would have thought it would be cheaper to buy a new set of scales rather than get them repaired. I bought a great Electronic Scale for less that £5.00 including P&P from eBay.

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.

Forget repairing, buy new ones. Electronic scales are hopeless to repair especially if they are used for weighing dirty, wet boxes or similar.
