    Question Fresh fish

    Could anyone reccomend the best place to buy fresh fish in Thurso ?

    Harbour fish shop, or Frasers on Castlegreen Road have vac pack fish from Backstairs fish shop in Wick. Both excellent.

    can you get it from the market as its landed as i have often wondered that for a fishing town there is not much fresh ' just caught' stuff about, its used to be in the old days you could just offer the fishermen on the quay a few quid and end up with a bag of stuff!
